Schools and Groups
Apart from public performances with a full team, we can provide a speaker on the subject of morris dancing maybe together with a dance and / or music demonstration.
Some examples are given below, but if this is not quite what you had in mind - just ask - we may be able to help.
Our child protection policy is available for review when appropriate.
Clubs and SocietiesTalks and Demonstrations (with optional audience participation)
We provided tuition and support to a group of men from Maxey, enabling them to dance the morris at their own village Fete.
We taught Helpston Girl Guides some morris dancing.
Morris can be a fun component of physical education, or in other areas such as history, music and culture. This can be in school hours as we have members who are either retired or work flexibly.
Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
Morris dancing may be used in fulfilment of either the 'Physical Recreation’ or 'Skill’ element of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme. We can provide tuition during our winter practice season (September-April).
